23.09.2009 - Experts in the areas of sanitation and sustainability confirm their participation in the congress

The second edition of the International Congress on Technology for the Environment had the confirmation of the participation of two other lecturers. The first one is Mario Takayuki Kato, a professor at the Environmental Sanitation Department of the University of Pernambuco (UFPE). He has a doctorate in Environmental Technology and Agricultural Sciences from Wageningen Agricultural University, in Holland. In addition to lecturing, Kato will be one of the evaluators of the 2nd Fiema Award.

Another confirmed lecturer at Fiema Brazil 2010 congress is the Italian Giuseppe Quaranta, of the University of Turin, who currently coordinates a cooperation project funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy in Cape Verde.

The 2nd International Congress on Technology for the Environment will be held from April 28 to 30 next year, concurrently with Fiema Brazil 2010. Sustainability is the central theme that will be developed during the three-day event.
