    International Fair of Technology for the Environment (Fiema Brasil) became part of the range of activities carried out by Proamb in 2007.    The group has taken on the challenge of developing a new profile and scope for the event. The energy displayed throughout this work was in a similar vein to that which was witnessed at the beginning of its founding, when a group of entrepreneurs from Bento Gonçalves (RS) united in the quest to find the right destination for industrial waste produced by companies in the region. The solution they found was in the construction of a disposal center, in compliance with international standards which was primarily used by the founding members and today is an alternative for companies all over Rio Grande do Sul to dispose of their waste type I and IIA in an appropriate and reliable manner.
    Focused on the goal of having an active role in sustainable development, Proamb Foundation has offered consultancy services related to environmental matters for just over two years. If on the one hand it provides the option of a waste disposal center, on the other it works for a reduction in waste generation and an increase in the reuse of production waste These are contemporary principles that are part of sustainability and environmental management.
